The Mont Hotel

Recently renovated, The Mont is a great spot close to the heart of Dublin. The rooms are a decent size and very comfortable, and the whole place rocks a luxurious but chilled vibe. The staff were extremely welcoming without being pushy, and the buffet breakfast food was of excellent quality. Best bacon ever. And Monty the dog was adorable.

Beautiful hotel room and general decor throughout the hotel. The room was spotless and a great size with an incredibly comfy bed! The little dog, Monty is a brilliant addition to the hotel to make you feel like you’re in a  home from home. Location is very convenient for Grafton Street and the 3Arena. Only downside was that they advertised room service but when we requested food, they didn’t actually do room service yet. The waiter at the pizza restaurant was extremely helpful in providing us with food to our room nevertheless.

Myself and my 11 year old daughter recently stayed at the Mont for one night. Our room/suite was very clean and well serviced. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was immaculate. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. And bonus was meeting Monty and petting her. Breakfast was delicious and a great range of food. The room was quiet and the whole experience was very positive. Would love to stay again and
hopefully we will.

I stayed for 2 nights, 2 extremely comfortable ones! The bed is super comfy with immaculately clean bedding. A large window, so plenty of daylight and for once, decent lighting. Angle poise bed lights that you can direct into the room so that you can actually see what you are doing! The room and bathroom are quite compact, but everything worked perfectly for me.  Tea making facilities are situated on a shelf, slightly too high for 5’4” lady (must have been designed by a fella), but that is a minor thing, the plus was bottled water and it was clean, clean, clean! Lift was super quick, staff  friendly, especially in the bar. The restaurant food was good, but the dinner menu limited, pasta and pizza basically. I would have loved some vegetables/salad and fish. The bar food is burger, steak, fish n chips, average and again no greenery in sight... Monty the dog is a cute and unusual addition, giving the hotel a quirky, relaxed image. I love the decor in the rooms, very stylish but remaining comfortable. Overall, it’s a big thumbs up and I would definitely choose the Mont again.
