The Green Hotel

I stay at the hotel almost every week for a few nights.  Great location, excellent breakfast and friendly staff.  Always good to go back.  The only 3 slight downsides I have is:
1. there is no free bottled water in the room unless you get an Executive room (I travel a lot on business and this is pretty standard now)
2. there is no plug next to the bed to charge your phone up.
3. no room service (not that I would use his much). Otherwise a really good stay. The gymn is very good.

First impressions are important, our first impression on entering the hotel on Monday afternoon was pretty
disappointing. The mat at the door was filthy, the floor not particularly clean and the tables in the foyer stained and untidy. Our room was smart enough and pretty clean although the view from the room was abysmal.
We were only staying for one night, we did enjoy our stay with the bar probably being the hotels best feature.
The staff were friendly and efficient, I understand some upgrading of facilities is planned, hopefully starting at the entrance.

Generally good. Rooms clean and good size bed etc. Corridors dark. Breakfast quite good but not a wide range of food on offer. For the price I would have expected better quality service and general facilities. Front desk were quite professional but not particularly friendly. Room service was slow and needed more than one call to reception.

I found your hotel exceptional. Your beds are the most comfortable I think I have ever slept in. The thought that has be put into the finish of the hotel and and rooms is stunning. Your staff are helpful friendly and polite so over all it was an outstanding experience.
