very good, albeit not exceptional
we enjoyed our stay here and it deserves the very good rating. I like the fact that everything is modern and very clean, but nothing exceptional...which is fine though.
The location, walking distance (15-20min.) to the well known part of Copenhagen. It's a short walk to the first Boat-bus hop on which we made good use of.

We much enjoyed the bar, which has a nice stile and a good selection of drink.

We upgraded our room - was it worth it? Not having seen the standard room it's hard to tell, but the size of the upgraded room was o.k., but it would have been nice to have some square meters more.

Saved by the Service
A very nice boutique hotel but lacks the simplest amenities that make all the difference. You have to call if you need anything and the room isn't equipped with anything from water to coffee to dental kits where these are all standard nowadays. The gym was too small and outdated and it's funny how they mention "state of the art machines" on their website. I wouldve given them a lower rating if it wasn't for their impeccable service especially a lady at the front desk called Shaolain ( i apologize if i spelled your babe wrongly) .... She went the extra mile and catered to all our needs including getting us a booking in a fine dining restaurant on new years eve! So definitely had a wonderful time especially because of the overall service which were very personal.

Design did not meet Function
Alas, this review echoes the many comments that precedes mine. The design of the nobis was excellent and the location of the property is good. However, aside from the tiny size of the room, several features are flawed in this hotel. I’ll not repeat them here as my fellow reviewers had already detailed them out - eg. Unintuitive light switches, lack of an electric kettle/coffee machine, a/c controls, and a clear shortage of manpower (no bellboy to help you lug your baggages up a short flight of stairs at the hotel entrance). Tip: do press the door bell instead.

For the price we paid (we stayed 3 nights), I think a certain level of expectations should have been met so that guests are satisfied in regard to our value perception. Rather than telling us that your definition of luxury and personal service is to have us order a cup of coffee via room service, do note how many reviewers were appalled at the lack of simple amenities. To me, this indicates a lack of sincerity at truly listening to traveller needs/wants.

Apart from the hotel and room aesthetics, and the good service experienced at check in/out, we did not think that our stay in Copenhagen was enhanced by Nobis. I wouldn’t recommend it and we would have been better off staying at an equivalently priced (or even more affordable) 5-star hotel in the city centre.

Beautiful but not perfect!
This hotel is stunning - very cosy feeling and great location in the middle of CPH. Warm welcome by the staff and - despite being a little warm and quite small - the rooms are comfortable and elegant. The beds are soft and the bathrooms are super (again, despite being relatively small)! The only real disappointment of this hotel was the service during breakfast. I'd read online that breakfast was a real highlight at this place so we decided to not go to a restaurant and stay in the hotel. We arrived at 10:10 knowing that we would still have a small half hour to eat. Everything off the buffet was eaten and consumed (including the water!!!!!) and the staff were very unclear whether there was an a la carte or not. There was little choice and the eggs they ended up serving were tasteless and small portions. Despite the staff being friendly and nice, they were not very professional or service-oriented during this breakfast experience.

Overall, beautiful hotel and pretty good trip, just skip the breakfast at the hotel! You'll save money and won't be hungry one hour after you've eaten ;)

Strange thermostat, no soap stand in the shower, other oddities
We stayed here two nights at the end of our Nordic country vacation. It is located in a quite corner, while still being close from everything.

The buffet breakfast was OK even though it was pricey. We had to call help to adjust the thermostat as it sets relative temperature instead of absolute target temperature - which was quite strange!

The shower stall was big, but there was no place to keep the gel/shampoo/conditioner. We left them on the floor. Danish design gone nuts!

There is no in-room coffee maker and their breakfast starts at 8AM. So, if you are early riser and didn't put in your request for in-room breakfast before 4AM, you will have to tough it out!

It is a very quirky place, while not being cheap. I am definitely not staying here again.

The front desk was helpful in calling cabs for us.

Another perfect Nobis hotel
Absolutely perfect. In the last couple of years, we've stayed at the Miss Clara and Skeppsholmen in Stockholm, also part of Nobis, and they were great. The Nobis Copenhagen has the same magic.

Maybe it's not to everyone's taste, but the simple, thoughtful, high quality furnishings, wonderful warm & helpful service, great breakfast and general sense of calm are very much my cup of tea.

The building is beautiful and sensitively done, with very high ceilings. Our small room didn't feel cramped because of the high ceiling, huge window and good planning. Even the tiny bathroom has all the space you need, really, and is very high quality with heated marble floor, high-end fittings and good quality work.

The location is great, very close to Tivoli which is of course sort of tacky (in a good way!), and full of festive cheer at this time of year. It's also fairly easy to walk to most central areas of Copenhagen from here for shopping, work or sightseeing.

Breakfast is excellent in both quality and variety. The bar is also good, small but convivial and relaxing.

We stayed as part of a very inexpensive BA package, in the cheapest type of room, but were made to feel highly valued. The staff were all absolutely great, all the time.

Can't think of anything even slightly negative to say, except that a small bottle of complimentary water would have been appreciated.

And yes, as per other reviews, the lights take some figuring out. The trick is that some are on/off but take a second to react, and some are press-and-hold (so as to adjust the light level). Hope that helps!

I could have happily stayed here a few days longer and wouldn't hesitate to choose this hotel again next time I'm in Copenhagen.

Lovely winter weekend break
My girlfriend and I visited Copenhagen for a weekend break and stayed at Nobis in a superior loft room for three nights. The hotel is in a great location, right next to Tivoli Garden and walking distance from the Nyhavn waterfront. The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful, and the room was cosy and as described - as others have mentioned, we also loved the marble heated floor in the bathroom! We did not have breakfast at the hotel as there are plenty of breakfast/brunch spots nearby that we wanted to sample. It missed certain special touches like a turndown service that have held it back from getting a 5, but overall we had a lovely stay.

Perfection!
We visited Copenhagen for my husbands 30th and we stayed here. The hotel was wonderful. The decor was Scandinavian perfection, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the room was cosy. Our highlight was possibly the heated marble floor in the bathroom.....I could have stood around in there all day! The hotel is located a short walk from the station (10 mins or so) and for those who enjoy walking it is within reasonable walking distance of many of the popular sites. The hotel also has bikes to rent. I would definitely recommend this hotel! There have been many comments made about the lighting in the rooms, and yes it takes some getting used to, but we enjoyed it and after a few tries got the hang of it!

Second stay in this stylish hotel after a 3 year gap and it was as lovely as we remembered. The hotel is in a beautiful building in a perfect position to walk to all parts of central Copenhagen.
The staff at the hotel are so helpful. Particular shout out to Soo, Front Desk Manager who could not be more helpful and friendly. And efficient.
Minor gripe is the delay in the extras ordered at breakfast . Frankly the buffet breakfast is very good so not worth ordering and then waiting 20-30 mins for a couple of poached eggs.
Overall I would very highly recommend this hotel.

Highly recommended. This well located beautifully presented hotel is a delight. A always it is the truly excellent staff that make the stylish contemporary decor come to life. The restaurant and bar staff were particularly charming and helpful. The reception team and manager could not have been more welcoming. The food was top quality and the breakfast buffet was super. The bedrooms are beautiful with wonderful bathrooms providing everything you need. Room service is also very good indeed. I'll be back.

A well deserved 5 star rating for this place. We've stayed at the Nobis Stockholm and so were expecting a lot. I'm happy to say that even with the expected staff shortages due to the pandemic we were not disappointed at all. A beautifully designed space, excellent, professional staff, and a great location. Mathias, the bar manager, made our stay even better with his great cocktails, friendliness and charm. Dora is also worth mention as she did a great job checking us in and as concierge.

This property is really special and you're going to love staying here! We just returned from a fantastic stay at the Nobis Hotel and are already looking forward to going back.  The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. No matter the team member or task everyone truly goes above and beyond at this hotel to make sure your stay is comfortable and carefree. The hotel has a really lovely high end and fresh design aesthetic that makes it's rooms and public spaces a joy to be in.  It's really well located too!  Don't think twice about staying here. You won't regret it.

We really really enjoyed our stay here:) Rooms are cozy, clean, lovely decorated. The bed was really comfortable and the restrooms were small yet spacious enough. The breakfast was excellent - many things to choose from, everything was fresh and delicious (buffet). The location is also such a great bonus, its close to everything you might need (bus / metro / train) and the hotel staff are always very helpful and friendly. We haven't used the other facilities, but there's also a sauna and a small gym.
Thanks for the pleasant stay!
