Clean, comfortable, and good location
We stayed at the Marriott for a week while on business and we were pleased with the service. The hotel is clean and well kept. Staff was always pleasant and professional. There are good options for food within the hotel, with a restaurant located on the first floor, as well as the option to eat in the lobby area or the executive lounge as well. It was a little strange as a platinum member to see the executive lounge on the first floor, but it was quite nice. My only complaint (very minor) would be the selection of beer. Really only three light beers that honestly don’t satisfy the taste of Americans who have become accustomed to micro brews and strong, bold flavored IPA’s. But honestly, the location is close to nearly anywhere in downtown Copenhagen, so you can simply take a stroll to find a nice local pub. My room was on the water side, so it was a nice view every morning. And if you don’t want to be woken by the sun, just pull the thick shades and you are guaranteed to have a nice dark room. Certainly would stay in this Marriott again if I return

Nice hotel option near downtown Copenhagen
Has been many years since I stayed here.

This is what I consider a high quality Marriott.

The lobby is quite nice. Very nice staff. Friendly, outgoing, very welcoming and wanting to help make your stay good.

My room was typical in its setup. Very clean, the bedding is excellent.

I was pleased with their internet....worked and had decent speed for work type use.

It’s a great location to walk to many places. Tivoli Garden is nearby. Lots of restaurants, the canal is right there....great for walking or running.

The breakfast is very good. Typical selections... wish they had a few more fresh fruits. Also wish the opened at 6am instead of 6:30. I was disappointed by the limited dinner menu at the restaurant. I ended up having two appetizers one evening when I ate here. The tomato soup was hot, and tasty. Went great with some rustic bread for dipping. The spare ribs were also very good. So food I had was good, just very limited menu.

This Marriott is also easy to get to and from the Airport. I’ll say 20 min drive in a taxi.

Lots of positives.....enjoy!!

Good location - nice breakfast
We visited this hotel as a family of five. It is not a particular family hotel, but probably more suites for business visitors. However, if you know the brand, you no what to get, and this hotel is definitely in the better end compared to similar hotels in U.S.
The prices can be quite steep here so watch out for deals particular in the weekends, which can be at a more affordable level and it can be important as a family.
The rooms are large and nice with big panorama windows towards the city or the Inner habor waterfront. The go with connecting doors. Ask for this if you need it.
The breakfast goes for 220 DKK per person, children half price, so this can make it a costly affaire. However, it is often possible to find deals with breakfast included at the time of booking. This is recommended, as the breakfast is really good, and if you know the hotel from the U.S. for example, this is really in a total other liga.
If you need to park your car there is a few available spots arround the hotel. Also a parking house just beside the hotel can be used. Parking goes for 275 DKK for a full day. In the parking house you can also park for 15 DKK/ hour. So it may be cheaper to pay the P-house directly. Less convenient, you can park in the streets if you can find a spot near the hotel. It is a bit cheaper.
Copenhagen Central station and Tivoli is within walking distance from the hotel.

Nice staff, professional place - no surprises. Air conditioning a bit noisy
I wouldn't normally stay at a Marriott as I usually go for smaller places with more character, however for various reasons I ended up here on a work trip. Right on the river, and within walking distance of most places I would need to go - it is a good location and a nice, clean, safe feeling hotel. The room is large and light and perfectly adequate - nothing to rave about, but nothing that stands out as an issue either. Nice comfy bed, and only issue with sleep was the noisy air conditioning which didn't ever seem to stop. Bathroom was a shower over a bath - not sure if there are options for a shower on its own (I prefer that). Bathroom amenities were fine - pretty standard. No complementary water, which was a shame. Like all of Copenhagen, it is pretty expensive - but it was a good place to stay.

Beautiful view
The hotel is excelente! The rooms are big and modern with an amazing big window facing the river. The staff was very polite and helpful every time needed.
I can say I am not a fan of the typical Marriott burger around the world but I gave it a try in this hotel and it was great! Also the fries were mind blowing! I was impressed also with the healthy option offered in the menu and breakfast! Well done!

Good
I enjoyed the stay at this hotel. It’s situated within 15/20 minute walk to most of the tourist traps.

The hotel stands out as one of the classier places to stay and I spoke to a few members of staff whilst there and every single one of them were friendly and polite. I’ve stayed at Marriotts before and this has to be the friendliest by far.

The room was an ok size. The air conditioning unit in my room kept clicking and I could hear the sound of water running through taps during the night. The clicking disturbed my sleep greatly the first night. I opened the window to drown out the noise a bit the second night, which wasn’t a great idea in mid January! I didn’t complain, so I don’t know what they would have done.

We ordered the breakfast the last day and was horrified to find it was cold! We was gutted as we had only an hour before we had to leave for the airport. We called and complained and received a phone call back two minutes later from a manager to apologise. The breakfast was removed from our bill. Which was a bit of a touch as we were still able to enjoy the croissants and drinks.

The room was a bit dusty and the cleaners did an average job. I did notice a couple of stray long black hairs, but I can forgive that.

The tv shows were a bit basic. Only a handful of English channels.

All in all, a decent hotel.

Business hotel
Stayed with 2 rooms. Ensure you ask for a room with walk in shower as these are the renovated rooms. The non renovated are very 1980"s. The hotel is not in the city center however it is about a 15 minute walk. This hotel is aimed at the business traveler. The gym is one of the best I have seen in a hotel. The staff are professional and friendly.

Decent location - more business hotel than touristy
Marriott Platinum Premier. Last stop of our EU anniversary trip.

Pros:
- Staff is friendly and professional
- The view on the water is great
- The club lounge is clean and well staffed
- The rooms are clean - looks like every other Marriott I've been to
- You're within walking distance to the train station and the hipster district of Copehagen.

Cons:
- The service is not very good at the on location restaurant.
- The food is not very good at the on location restaurant as well as room service.
- One of the elevators just doesn't work.

Overall a very good stay, we would stay again.

Central, quiet and on the river
We stayed here for a long weekend and had two rooms that had a connecting door.
Our rooms overlooked the Tivoli and the city. There is a main road out of the front of the hotel but it never very busy and you can not hear it at all from the rooms.
The rooms are large and well equipped with all the amenities you would expect in a Marriott hotel. The breakfast room overlooked the river and the breakfast which was included in the room rate was amazing and you could have everything from fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals to hot options including sausages, bacon, tomatoes and personalised omelette made by the chef and then on to cheeses and pastries you can eat as much as you like!
The staff are all very friendly and will speak to each other in English when they realise that is your language, this even happened with the room staff too.
The hotel is not far from the central railway station which is on the route from the airport and the Tivoli gardens are opposite the station and you can use the water taxis to get around. There is a shopping mall just a short walk down the riverside.
My only problem was with the number of channels on the TV that were in English I recently stayed at a Marriott in Berlin where there were so many to choose from and it was a very good selection, in Copenhagen when you got back when it was dark and cold it was only the BBC news channel and BBC earth both are not entertaining at all there is only so much news anyone can take, there were many people staying at the hotel and they understood English there should have been more entertainment channels in English.

This hotel has excellent service! I especially want to mention Hasan who helped me recover something I had forgotten in my room. Thank you!

The rooms are clean, the room service offers a small but good choice of menus. The personnel is very friendly

I had a wonderful time here. The rooms were very spacious. The hotel was within walking distance to a lot of sites. However, it didn't feel like were overwhelmed with tourism traps everywhere either. The concierge were really great. They helped us with recommendations and directions. I ask a lot of questions, and they were very patient and healthy. The hotel bar and room service were pretty good too. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff is kind and professional. The room was large and had a beautiful view of the city. I especially appreciated the professionalism of Hasan who worked at the front desk. He made our trip extra special by providing us with information on what to do and how to get there. He was also knowledgeable about where to get Covid testing for our trip home. I highly recommend staying at this hotel because Hasan. Thank you.

Gorgeous hotel.
Fantastic location, fabulous view of the river. Beautiful rooms and but not the most comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast buffet.  Dinner is superb too, excellent beef tenderloin and the French fries are to die for. Shower is very narrow and difficult for people to get in and out of as well as not a very forceful stream of water. One of the nicer Marriott hotels we've been to in terms of beauty and decor.

Used for a conference and found the staff to be so helpful and wonderfully supportive. The rooms are well equipped and the view of the river from the back of the hotel adds a lot to whole experience.
There was food supplied for breaks, with tasty treats and then a sit down lunch in the restaurant which was way above the normal levels expected.
If I had one issue it would be not being able to open a window in the particular room I was in to let natural air flow... But this a personal taste aspect that didn't impact the effectiveness of the hotel.

The beds at the Marriott are always brilliant. The view overlooking the water is beautiful.
The room was quite stuffy and a shame that a hotel of this size does not have a swimming pool. The spa did not have any staff and the water machine needed replacing or at least a very good clean. The gym seemed a little dated. The staff were polite however the breakfast chef was a little rude. They had Prosecco however it was never opened. The snacks in the club lounge were inedible. The breakfast buffet was brilliant and to a very high standard.

I highly recommend this Marriott for a variety of reasons. The staff is amazing and truly has gone above and beyond to assist in every way possible. The front desk staff was very welcoming at check in. The concierges were extremely helpful and found the perfect restaurant for us to host a birthday dinner party. Although the executive club is currently being remodeled, they made a temporary one that provided drinks and snacks throughout the day/night. The breakfast buffet at the restaurant is top-notch! The rooms are spacious and very clean and the fitness center is perfect for a good workout. This Marriott is in a prime location with the Metro only a 10 minute walk away. As someone that travels frequently for both business and pleasure, I was extremely impressed with this particular hotel and highly recommend it!
