A really good hostel but no good at all for people in wheelchairs. Nice and clean, small kitchen that's reasonably well stocked although people tended to abandon their dirty dishes until later or for someone else to clean. Sufficient shower rooms, I felt, and these were good and clean too. Really good location in the heart of Coimbra in a pretty little square. Most amenities close by. I would be happy to stay here again.

Not a pleasant experience. The room is really small, can hardly walk inside the bathroom. There is no AC and it's very humid. Needs some soundproofing, noisy street throughout the night. The bathroom smelled like mold and near the bed there was a strong onion smell. Dead flies inside the bathroom, dusty all around. No soap, wifi password wasn't provided or communicated. No elevator. Only benefit its that its centrally located but would definitely not return.

I stayed at this hostel for nearly 2 weeks and I can honestly say it has been my favourite hostel in Portugal. The hostel was cleaned everyday, from top to bottom, as well as hand sanitizers. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, Bruno, Alice were great volunteers!!! The location was perfect, right in the centre of the city, walking distance from all the restaurants and bars, as well as two big supermarkets. Great value for money and I would definitely come back.

Great place to stay & fantastic location. I’ve been staying in hostels over the past 2 years and I have to say this one was very clean and comfortable. I appreciate lots of bathrooms and the 10 bed dorm attic space which was a good break from the bunk beds which even came with a personal night stand. Staff is friendly, fellow travelers were also nice and even the cleaning lady spoke a little bit of English. The only downside for some of you might be the steps to get to the top floor but it was ok for me especially if considering it a little workout. This hostel has a kitchen so you can make your own meals.
