Halepa Hotel

Very nice Hotel in Chania, Greece. Their rooms are clean and large. The customer service is amazing. They do provide transportation from the airport, however you need to let them know a few days before. Their breakfast is very good, and they have a good selection of foods. To top it off, the day we were leaving, which was at 6:00am, they helped us arrange transportation for that morning, and the receptionist even had hot coffee, and some bread for us prior to us leaving. It was a great hotel, and their parking was free. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The hotel is pretty nice. Good, clean rooms, tasty (even if monotonous). Stylish interior, jacuzzi on the rooftop. Minor disadvantages: nearly zero food in the lobby bar, very poor wifi, and a gym that is advertised as "brand new", but sadly has some non-functional equipment (a treadmill that randomly skips/jumps pace; I reported it to no avail) and poor air-conditioning. The hotel is also 15-20 minutes by walk  from the center. All in all, a good deal if you can get it cheap.

I'm giving this hotel a 3 stars because of the lovely staff and decent breakfast included in the price. The problem was the rooms view was horrible from the balcony and the location. To get to the town centre you have to wait up to 30 mins for a bus or to walk it can be anywhere up to 45 mins depending on your walking speed. To get to a nice beach with sand you have to get 2 busses and it can take uo to 1.5 hours so I would choose somewhere closer to the centre of chania to stay.

The staff was very nice but did not quite remember the arrangements and tried charging us extra. The gym is not quite working and in the basement where I was afraid to be on my own. Nice buffet lunch and wonderful roof terrace where you can have lunch is a great advantage. The internet connection is poor.
