Hôtel Mercure Bordeaux Cité Mondiale Centre-Ville

We were very pleased with this hotel and the restaurant Le Parvis. We stayed for 7 days and the staff were very nice to us. They were especially helpful in guiding us to places to visit and eat. The room was clean and the view was nice. The morning breakfast on the 7th floor was exceptional and the view of the harbor is stunning. Not just the view but the variety of food and fruit and pastry. Also, the restaurant and hotel staff all spoke English which is very helpful for us tourists and so friendly. The location is close to every part of central Bordeaux worth visiting and also close to many restaurants. The restaurant food is very good and we were able to enjoy eating at the tables outside or taking our meals to our room after a day of touring. We thought the price was very reasonable and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others. It is a favorite with tourists and business travelers.

Lovely central hotel. Cleanliness and attentiveness of room staff was fantastic. Easy check in and check out. Maintenance a little lacking like sink bulb not working and toilet seat loose. Would definately stay again.  Parking is in a very local car park. Cost 60 euros for 3 days, I wonder if the hotel can obtain a discount for hotel guests in the future?

I was greeted by a wonderful receptionist! I have never seen such friendliness and disposition. After spending the day walking the streets of Bordeaux, he was the 1st person I met who spoke English! And even better, she is Italian and I was able to practice a little of my grandparents' language with her, who gave me valuable tips on tours, restaurants, Christmas markets, etc. The room is great, very clean and very quiet. It was very cost-effective. I actually found it very cheap for what is offered. It is worth mentioning that the hotel team accepted the postponement of my trip, which was scheduled for August (but at the time I was unable to travel due to health reasons). I highly recommend it!

Quite expensive 4stars hotel close to the city center (15 minutes walk away). There is not hall on the ground floor. Recepction desk is more similar to a 2stars than a 4stars hotel. The breakfast is on the last floor where you can have a nice view of the river. The quality of the breakfast is high but the price is not cheaper.
