Hôtel Gambetta Bordeaux

Great location. Very friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed our stay. Rooms starting to look a little tired in need of some love but were clean. Staff/management very accommodating with date moves. Recommended!

All in all a good experience for the price and stars proposed. I don't give it 5 stars because there is too much noise in the street. It is not the fault of the managers of the hotel, but anyways it is something to take into account if you are very sensitive to noises. Anyways the rooms are clean, staff very polite, breakfast correct.

Fantastic location and super friendly (and helpful) front desk staff. Rooms a bit small, but very neat old building — that comes with the expected caveats of being an older space! Super comfortable beds though and fairly clean; great pick to spend a few nights in Bordeaux. Only complaint/critique is that some of the final "finishing touches" seem to be missing. Few spots in the room were a little dusty/looked like they hadn't been touched in a while, toilet didn't seem sealed to the floor/rocked a bit(?) But easily good value for money!

Very well located and was reasonably comfortable and spacious. Both guys at the reception whom i encountered during my stay were polite and helpful. The only two minus points for me would be the non sound proof walls, you could hear people walking up and down the stairs. And also the old fashioned built in hairdryer which got very hot after awhile. They were not major issues though. I still had a good stay.
