Brit Hotel des Grands Hommes - Bordeaux Centre

Basic stay, the room is small but very clean, and the price is great for the location. My room was cleaned each day. It basically suits my needs but there are things to note: There's no elevator, and they have 3 stories. You need to walk upstairs but front desk can help me with that. The internet was painfully slow so keep in mind if you need it for work. It took a minute to download a 2MB file. I had T-mobile international roaming, but still there are things that can't be done on a phone. Wifi authentication is also cumbersome and available only for each 5-hour block it seemed. The clearance between the toilet and wall was quite narrow, if you are 6 feet++, it can be hard to use, and you may have to sit sideway. My room has no AC, only a heater. There's only one electric outlet in the room, near the desk. I would expect there's at least one more near the bed.

The hotel has a very nice location in the center of the city, close to a lot of shops, wine-bars and restaurants. The owners are very nice and welcoming and they made sure that my stay was comfortable and pleasant. The room has all the usual amenities of a hotel. In my opinion, the price is excellent compared to nearby options. Would definitely return.

Wonderful little hotel, tiny rooms and bathroom but very fresh and nice. Nice breakfast (french) and helpful staff. And location is great. If you don’t mind small rooms this is great!

Well located, the receptionist kind and accessible, very comfortable mattress. On the other hand, bathroom very very cold and the water in the shower very weak, there is not much water coming out and in addition it takes a long time to heat up.
