Bern Backpackers Hotel Glocke

The room was very nice for a hostel. Spacious, private and clean. The location perfect! Right at the centre of the city. You also get a free ticket to use for public transportation in the city for the whole duration of your stay. A bit expensive but its Switzerland so everything is a bit expensive here.

The locations was perfect, price was good but the rooms were bad. It smelled like rotten fish in there, as if it wasn't cleaned for three weeks. In addition, you have problems with sleeping on a Saturday night since it is next to a techno club which you will hear very clear. Not sure if I would recommend it.

This was the most beautiful hostel that I ever been to. Clean, stylish, cozy, well equiped and with a perfect location. For a fair price and in the price you get a public transport ticket included (for the days of your stay) which I found perfect, because I didn’t have to worry about anything and I could just use the public transport. Don’t miss this place if you are coming to Bern!

Location was excellent, right near the clock tower and above the restaurants - however wasn't noisy at night. Room was clean and the bathrooms / toilets were also very clean. Check in and out was easy, and we were able to leave our luggage in the common area for free. The kitchen was really big and there was free tea provided. Wifi was strong in the room. Overall a very good experience.
Very minor cons: Towels weren't included (can be hired) in the price but we had our own. Otherwise everything else was great, highly recommended for a short stay in Bern!
