World Class apartment accommodation in Berlin
Arriving in Berlin to be greeted by management of these apartments with Gluhwein and traditional shortbread biscuits was lovely but seeing the quality of the accommodation was even better. Impeccably maintained and clean, all the amenities was of the highest standard. The assistance given to us to locate great restaurants, shopping and Christmas markets by the staff was also superb! They could not do more to help us. I would recommend Goki Apartments in Berlin wholeheartedly.

What a gem!
stayed 3 nights here over the New Years Eve celebration in the two bedroom/two bath top floor apartment. Wow! Everything was lovely. Big kitchen, great coffee, comfortable beds and linens, beautiful bathrooms. We especially loved the breakfast choices, there is an option to pay for breakfast vouchers and each of the restaurants had it's own character and uniqueness. Though we had our own apartment, as if in a B and B the rooms were serviced daily, which was like the best of both worlds. We walked everywhere in the city from our base in the Gorki. Thank you everyone! We wouldn't stay anywhere else when we return to Berlin!

Nice stay but more of an AirBnB experience
Overall I had a nice stay, and I think staying at this property is great if you prefer more of an AirBnB experience over a traditional hotel one. The room had a kitchenette with an espresso maker and tea. The room was large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom had a nice shower, good shower products, and a Dyson hairdryer. Reception/concierge were fairly quick to respond and were helpful via WhatsApp but there were a couple minor things that could have been improved. It's a little noisy even on higher floors if you sleep in late; sometimes I woke up to housekeeping in the halls or recycling in the courtyard, so I would recommend bringing earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Location is in Mitte, a nice, quieter area with coffee shops and restaurants. Location is good for accessing the major tourists sites but a little bit further from some of the popular bar areas.

Macht weiter so, Ihr seid große Klasse!

I loved my room, I slept well, it was cozy and gracious and comfortable, and the people were really nice, the products smelled good, the water was hot, the neighborhood was easy to stay in, the building was pretty. My one tip would be if you want a quiet room, let them know— mine faced the back courtyard and was on the 4th floor. I would definitely go back next time!

We have visited Gorki Apartments twice now, we absolutely love it. The apartments are spacious, clean and very comfortable.

We loved having a drink on the balcony, over looking the street below.

The staff are very helpful and always respond very quickly to emails/Instagram messages.

Lots of bars and restaurants are within distance and museum island is also not too far.

There are many shops to browse and markets on the weekends.

Personally we prefer the East to the West, more culture and cooler vibe (in our opinion)

We loved our stay in the Gorki Apartments! It was very well located, the service was great, and the apartment was so cute. Great food located on the block, and the breakfast service was excellent. Would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Berlin!

When I was checking out, the front desk person asked a housekeeper in German (assuming that I don't understand) to run to my room and check if the hair dryer is there. And the housekeeper streamed to the 3rd floor to make sure that she can check and report it back before I leave. I have never been accused of stealing from a hotel room before. It was so offensive and inappropriate.
The 24/7 concierge service is very deceiving and unprofessional. When I inquired if they have a spare mask, they said that they will bring it to my room, and of course they have it. Only 5 days later upon check out, I found out that they are charging me for it. There is no price list in a room. The concierge person never disclosed it to me. I never agreed to pay for it. I paid for it upon check out, of course.
The room was ok. The housekeeping was not consistent, they stopped cleaning my dishes at the last  4-3 nights of my 8 night stay.
You can hear people from other rooms. It was a bit too much, especially at night.
The room also had a weird smell.
The pillows are not ergonomic, not even close.
I am not coming back.

Quite possibly the best hotel/apartment we’ve stayed in, from the beginning the room was fantastically presented with high quality appliances and furnishings. The service was absolutely perfect, simple WhatsApp messaging for requests that were responded to within minutes made our stay so much easier! The reception team were always happy to answer extra requests and even surprised us with a gift for our engagement which was a lovely touch! I wholeheartedly recommend these apartments to anyone travelling to the area!

I stayed at the Gorki apartments back in September and enjoyed every moment of it. The rooms were beautifully designed incredibly comfortable and the service was excellent. The location also a plus. I then decided to return next week but given the global pandemic and that the numbers are the highest that they have ever been my company asked me not to come as it was going to be too dangerous. I communicated with the hotel and ask them for a refund and or a credit for a future travel. They have denied me this. I think that this is outrageous business and it’s unfortunate because I will never ever do business with this company ever again. Have they offered me even a credit to come back again that would be acceptable but to take my money during a global pandemic is despicable.

Description

Location
The apartments are pretty much right on Rosenthaler Platz. You can walk to Alexanderplatz and the Museum Island in 20-25 minutes respectively, and the nearby tram and U-Bahn – while a bit noisy at night if you’re in the front rooms – can whisk you anywhere you want to go in the city. There are abundant shops, restaurants, cafes and more right outside the front door.

Style & character
Set inside a 19th-century residential building in Mitte and accessed by a street-facing door that passes through a beautifully renovated hallway, the apartments have an immediately homely feel. This is enhanced by the fictive names bestowed upon each room, an associated doorbell and mailbox and the lovely Gründerzeit (wealthy 19th-century) visual styling inside the rooms.

Service & facilities
The in-room kitchen and abundant restaurants and bars in the area means you won’t even notice the lack of any on-site restaurant or bar.
Though there are no public areas to speak of, the young, friendly staff run an iConcierge, whereby you can Whatsapp them any time to order drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and groceries to the room, to get directions or sightseeing tips when you’re out and about, or to rent you a trendy vintage bike. They also offer a glass of bubbly on arrival as an extra welcoming touch.

Rooms
Designed by interior expert Sandra Pauquet and architect Kim Wang, the standard apartments vary in size from quite small to very decent. Each comes with swish and comfortable bedroom, bathroom and dining areas that are peppered with classic design pieces (Eiermann, Hansen) as well as flea market finds, arty photos and chic lamps and funky printed cushions by local companies like Odeeh.
Bathrooms, most of which are open-plan with the bedroom have tubs, have gorgeous sea-green tiles and eco-friendly products from the likes of Dr. Bronner.
If you’re looking for some bling (or just more space), rent one of the two spacious penthouses which come with private roof decks and nearly 200 square-metres of living space.

Food & drink
There is no breakfast available on site, but a selection can be had at various partner restaurants nearby for €13,50 (£12): a full plate of cheeses, cold cuts, fruits and a bread basket plus a boiled egg, fresh juice and two hot beverages at Gorki café downstairs; a classic or veggie breakfast plus a juice and drink at Café Fleury; and at health spot Daluma over the road, muesli or buckwheat porridge, a juice or smoothie plus a hot beverage.
There’s no shortage of dining spots in the area: you could literally lunch for a week at a different place without leaving the lower part of the street. The same choice is available for bars, with everything from low-key pubs to high end rooftop bars within a kilometre stroll.

Value for money
Double rooms from £125 in low season; and from £350 in high. Breakfast is €13,50 (£12) per person per day at one of the nearby partner cafes, and for an additional charge of € (£9)10 it can also be delivered to the apartment. Free Wi-Fi.
