Great hotel just on the cusp of the water and perfect location to Gothic Quarter! The hotel was literally the perfect place, as we could walk to pretty much any end of Barcelona from it. With a plethora of restaurants around, we had no issues in finding a place to eat. The hotel staff was kind enough to hold our luggage since we arrived early and also allowed us to use the restrooms to change. There is a small restaurant with tea, coffee, pastries, and simple sandwiches. The rooms are appropriately sized for two people, although  can get congested if you have a third. The amenities are wonderful, especially the bathrooms. However the air conditioning was broken during our stay and had been for months now but the hotel didn’t bother to fix given it was winter. The breakfast came with the room and was excellent - they had a fancy expresso machine, fresh orange juice, cheeses, slices of ham, croissants, and fresh fruit. The service was great and timely. The breakfast was served in baskets however our first morning I noticed some bugs in the baskets. The server was kind enough to replace us with new and we didn’t notice any after that. I suspect they may not wash them often since they’re decorative type. The rest of our stay was wonderful and had absolutely no complaints, I would definitely stay here again! Three stars only because of the bugs in the baskets and the air conditioning they did not inform us about.

Good value. Clean and spacious room. Staff are very friendly and accommodating esp Rafael in the reception. Mini bar is good, serves good cocktails and huge food portions. Will definitely come back.

If it weren’t for their location, this would be a one star review. Our hotel room was extremely small and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. We booked a king sized bed, when we later discovered that the bed was in fact two twin sized beds slid together. It was impossible to sleep on as the two twins would slide apart. Furthermore, there was hardly any room to store our suitcases. Knowing that most hotels in Europe are smaller than American sized hotel rooms, we were still shocked with how tiny the room was there. The room was the smallest in all of the hotel rooms we enjoyed while in France and Spain. In conclusion, their location was nice being close to various bars and tourist areas, and their lobby bar was convenient. Aside from that, I would strongly suggest you book elsewhere for a more comfortable stay.

A lovely place, with a great staff ! Rafael was so kind and did is best to find us a room on front of the building, to have a better view ! He was very sweet and made sure we've were well settled in our room. The terrasse is really cute and the building perfectly placed between the beach and the historical district. Highly recommended.
