Justly Deserves its Awards!
St George Lycabettus Hotel is minutes’ walk from high-end boutiques, world-class bars and chic restaurants in posh Kolonaki and has all the amenities you would expect from a Luxury Hotel.
We recently spent a three-night stay at this amazing Boutique Hotel, and it was truly a memorable stay. We had a swift and efficient check-in before we headed to our room.
ROOM 507
The room was well appointed and comfortable and loved the colour combination and the light yellow decorative touches. What excited us most though, was the fabulous view!
The king-size bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights' sleep.
From a working desk to coffee/tea facilities, a fully stocked mini bar, LCD TV, a safe, to complimentary wireless internet.
The hotel provides complimentary mineral water and juice to all residents of the hotel upon request.
BATHROOM:
Average in size our bathroom had a bathtub that featured a stand-up Massage shower. Toiletries are provided, just as bathrobes, slippers and an electric scale and towels are changed daily.
FACILITIES & SERVICES:
The hotel provides a screening room and plays films for guests if not occupied.
The rooftop pool is a lovely area to relax, but unfortunately, it was closed due to the season.
There is a Sunday Brunch from 12:00 – 16:00 and a Kids Corner with activities to keep them busy. Check their website!
There is a business centre at the hotel, and the team can hold a range of in-house banqueting, outside catering and conference options for events both intimate and grand.
There are rooms and suites on different budgets. Interior courtyard rooms are much cheaper, unique for younger guests intending to spend more time outdoors.
TEAM SERVICE:
The hotel truly deserves its awards. It offers a high standard of services in all departments like always. The team is a bunch of professionals many of whom I know for years.
LA SUITE LOUNGE: (An All-day Restaurant)
At breakfast time the buffet is varied, enough to satisfy demanding guests. You will find a choice of eggs, meats Greek cheeses and yoghurt, Greek bread, savoury Pies and fresh seasonal fruit. The view from the 6th floor is breathtaking, the service impeccable and the tastes exquisite!
The a la carte menu for Lunch and Dinner offers creative Greek Cuisine and I enjoyed every bite! Check my detailed review of the tasting experience under the Restaurant’s name.
THE AEGEO SPA:
The Aegeo Spa of the hotel offers an original approach to holistic wellbeing and total relaxation. The amazing is that the residents of the hotel have free access to the steam room and can enjoy a welcoming 15-minute Massage. The team who are skilful and professionals will guide you according to your own needs to pick the right treatment that will suit you best.
I had the Hot Stone Massage (60 min) and never before enjoyed it that much. (The Glow facial treatment was evident that it left a glow on my face for hours. (55 min /€75). I left the spa relieved from back muscle pain and totally relaxed and rejuvenated.
In all, you can’t beat the St George Lycabettus Hotel for a weekend of relaxation and indulgence. Be sure to check the hotel’s website for special offers!
