The hotel with the best view in Athens
St George is a nice hotel with very hospitable staff, although some furniture and room (ancient TV) is dated, if you have breakfast and see the Parthenon in the morning, you will forget any small inconveniences, take the room with the view, you won't regret a bit extra cost.

A wonderful stay
This hotel is very welcoming throughout our stay. Even though it’s not in the City Center, its location provides a lot of calm. Everything is tailored to make our stay enjoyable. The personnel is very courteous and helpful. The food is delicious and its pool is very welcoming. The rooms are nice and have a boutique hotel look.

The view of the Parthenon and the city is fabulous from the restaurant even more so at sunset and in the evening! It’s an extremely sight!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Athens.

A hotel with a special staff, with genuine heart :)
I have been at St. George's hotel for few days, during my business trip in Athens. I was impressed by the staff, so helpful, so kind, so spontaneously loving in serving you. This is something you normally expect every time you go to a vacancy accomodation, but I could feel something really special. It was such a good experience in human terms. On top of that, the hotel is in a very good position where you easily reach the downtown on foot. The food is very good and while having breakfast, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the city. The room was nice and tidy, but during the night a little bit too warm. I recommend to stop there and be deilghted :)

Amazing Stay - Great Service
The front reception is currently undergoing a renovation so upon walking in I was a bit apprehensive given the current set up, however that apprehension went to the wayside immediately upon speaking with the staff. The staff is so professional, pleasant and helpful! The rooms are spotless. And big shout out to George, concierge trainee, for the outstanding service and restaurant recommendations! I have only been back from Athens for two days and already recommended the hotel. Also, the location is fantastic. Quieter neighborhood, very close to shopping and delicious restaurants and walking distance to the sights. The only issue we had was the air didn't work in the room and it got super hot for about an hour or two at night which was resolved a bit with the opening of the door to balcony.

Wonderful spa!!
We stayed for one night, enjoyed 50 minutes couple’s Swedish massage in the wonderful spa of the hotel. The staff was very sweet and polite, they created a very relaxed atmosphere and they were very good at their job. At the end they offered a cup of tea and inhaling eucalyptus drops-super way to end the massage. A++ for the spa!
The hotel room was ok, clean, with a tub (not a shower). We ate dinner at the hotel’s restaurant- quite disappointed. Gourmet dishes super expensive and not that tasty..coca cola zero 250ml 8.80€...but i suppose you pay for the view which is right across the Acropolis..
Morning buffet was nice.
Would only go back for the spa :)

A hotel with a View!
My company stayed for a weekend and Christmas Dinner at the hotel. It claims it's has five Stars and with a little extra goodwill, let's say okay give them 5 Stars. The hotel is partially renovated and the best of the hotel is, in fact, the location and the view. I was very pleased with my stay. Room size, good beds, and cleaning were perfect. Nice Balcony to view the town and the Acropolis, The bathroom had everything that's needed. Breakfast buffet plenty of selection and good quality food. Service: very friendly. A hotel I sure will come back to. 30 minutes walk to Plaka and the Acropolis. But only a few hundred meters from the hotel you are in an exclusive shopping area as well.

Average,if not poor
Decided to stay in this hotel, because supposedly was among the 3 best downtown hotels in Athens. The spot is simply wonderful,at the very beginning of Lycabettus hill, few steps away from the most beautiful downtown and chic neighborhood of Athens,Kolonaki. The hotel’s best -and unfortunately the ONLY-good thing is the room view,as you have total view of the Acropolis hill.Simply magnificent. On the other hand now,the premises are quite old,the room old as well (avoid first floor rooms,as they have inadequate heat system). The staff is quite gentle, except perhaps the groom in the reception who is responsible for the cars and luggages.Speaking about breakfast, surely not what you expect from a 5-star hotel, and again, the only good thing about it,is the view you have from the breakfast hall. All in all,i would not recommend it if you want to have a quality stay. Not a 5-star hotel for sure

Impossible to rest in this place
I visit Athens twice a year. Walls and doors are so thin as well that all noises and TVs around the room are heard.
Saturday morning, 8:30am, drilling and hammering begins in a room on top of me. Call front desk and receive a call from Front Desk five minutes later saying that there is no maintenance going on while I still hear the drilling and hammering,
Unless there is no other option, I will avoid this hotel.

Justly Deserves its Awards!
St George Lycabettus Hotel is minutes’ walk from high-end boutiques, world-class bars and chic restaurants in posh Kolonaki and has all the amenities you would expect from a Luxury Hotel.

We recently spent a three-night stay at this amazing Boutique Hotel, and it was truly a memorable stay. We had a swift and efficient check-in before we headed to our room.

ROOM 507
The room was well appointed and comfortable and loved the colour combination and the light yellow decorative touches. What excited us most though, was the fabulous view!

The king-size bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights' sleep.

From a working desk to coffee/tea facilities, a fully stocked mini bar, LCD TV, a safe, to complimentary wireless internet.

The hotel provides complimentary mineral water and juice to all residents of the hotel upon request.

BATHROOM:
Average in size our bathroom had a bathtub that featured a stand-up Massage shower. Toiletries are provided, just as bathrobes, slippers and an electric scale and towels are changed daily.

FACILITIES & SERVICES:
The hotel provides a screening room and plays films for guests if not occupied.

The rooftop pool is a lovely area to relax, but unfortunately, it was closed due to the season.

There is a Sunday Brunch from 12:00 – 16:00 and a Kids Corner with activities to keep them busy. Check their website!

There is a business centre at the hotel, and the team can hold a range of in-house banqueting, outside catering and conference options for events both intimate and grand.

There are rooms and suites on different budgets. Interior courtyard rooms are much cheaper, unique for younger guests intending to spend more time outdoors.

TEAM SERVICE:
The hotel truly deserves its awards. It offers a high standard of services in all departments like always. The team is a bunch of professionals many of whom I know for years.

LA SUITE LOUNGE: (An All-day Restaurant)

At breakfast time the buffet is varied, enough to satisfy demanding guests. You will find a choice of eggs, meats Greek cheeses and yoghurt, Greek bread, savoury Pies and fresh seasonal fruit. The view from the 6th floor is breathtaking, the service impeccable and the tastes exquisite!

The a la carte menu for Lunch and Dinner offers creative Greek Cuisine and I enjoyed every bite! Check my detailed review of the tasting experience under the Restaurant’s name.

THE AEGEO SPA:
The Aegeo Spa of the hotel offers an original approach to holistic wellbeing and total relaxation. The amazing is that the residents of the hotel have free access to the steam room and can enjoy a welcoming 15-minute Massage. The team who are skilful and professionals will guide you according to your own needs to pick the right treatment that will suit you best.

I had the Hot Stone Massage (60 min) and never before enjoyed it that much. (The Glow facial treatment was evident that it left a glow on my face for hours. (55 min /€75). I left the spa relieved from back muscle pain and totally relaxed and rejuvenated.

In all, you can’t beat the St George Lycabettus Hotel for a weekend of relaxation and indulgence. Be sure to check the hotel’s website for special offers!

The Best Vantage Position in Athens
I stayed in this hotel many times on business some years ago but this time was a vacation visit. There are stunning views from the hotel room balconies and the rooftop restaurant has a brilliant panorama over Athens. Excellent breakfast and dining facilities on the sixth floor and well as cocktail bars on the lower level. A small Movie Theatre is located for guests on the entry level.
