The lobby and dining area are great but the rooms are kind of like a dorm room or jail cell. Only the absolute necessities in there. Pretty cramped. Staff was friendly (by Dutch standards!) and accommodating. Location is great if you want to shop and go to the museums or on a canal tour. The breakfast was varied, fresh, and delicious with lots of variety. I would consider going back only because of the proximity to all the fun things, but don't expect anything extravagant. It served it's purpose though and was clean!

I must confess that when I saw the pictures of the room, that sink was a big NO to me. However, I have zero complains about it, in the end it was actually useful because while my boyfriend was showering I could do my makeup peacefully. The bed is extremely comfortable but we didn't love the pillows. They were too big for our taste. However, everything else was just perfect. After reading many reviews I thought the room was gonna be small but it's not that small, it has a decent amount of space.
The self check in and check out are extremely easy. We didn't use the mini market at the entrance but it can be useful as they have travel size products. The breakfast has a good variety (fruit, pancakes, pastries, yoghurt, etc.) and the food is tasty. All the rooms have kettle and coffee machine as well as coffee capsules and tea which is awesome. The location is great to visit the main places of Amsterdam.
Useful tip: There’s a bus (397) that comes from the airport and stops 300m away from the hotel and also goes the other way around. No need to call Uber, Taxi or get the train. The bus ticket is 6.50€ or 11.75€ if you buy the return ticket. Can be bought online or directly to the driver - only card accepted.
Thanks for having us ED!

You can easily find much nicer hotels at the same rate as this location. The Check-in and Check-out is a Kiosk. When I had an issue at night there was no one at the front desk, and I contacted the “24 hour” WhatsApp number at midnight to never hear back, and then addressed the issue the next day at 10am when someone was working at the desk, where the gentleman said “oh yes, I just read your message”. The rooms are small— and I mean small. They were clean and the staff was overall quite friendly when they were present.

Very compact room/hotel, with quirky decor, but I think they compromise on space. Fine for a few nights I guess, but wouldn't bother again because you're barely in the room anyway, so better to spend less.
The room had a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, safe and fridge.
Soft, comfy bed.
Wash and conditioner in the shower, but the wash didn't work/pump out.
Due to the smallness of the room, the toilet wasso close to the wall, even for a small person, you kind of sit at an angle.  The bathroom and room could also do with more hooks/shelving ( there is space for it).
Friendly staff, happy to hold our bags for us on last day and call a taxi, which we didn't bother with in the end.
Good location, only 30 mins from Central Station.
